You know you've been waiting for it...the Sex And The City movie. Just in case you've been in a cave...let me share the trailer with you:
May I make a juicy suggestion....why not make a night of it! Just include three essential ingredients--girlfriends, fab heels and a juicy martini!
Here's the perfect spot for the martini, Trezo Vino. How can you go wrong when their tagline is "wine, dine & mingle"?
How about a little preview of Meghan whipping up a fabulous martini with your name on it....
Can't you just taste it? Did I mention that Meghan is being featured in the June issue of 435 SOUTH Magazine as one of the hottest bartenders in KC. Now you have to go! Trezo Vino with Sex And The City...so fun. Enjoy!
Check out this crew--they were so much fun to hang out with and were willing to try anything. Alexis cracked me up the whole time and in a random moment she opened her mouth and her tongue was literally "Hulk" green. I'm sure there's an official crayon named that somewhere. Her cousin Montana has the most stunning eyes, I've ever seen. You may think I played around with them...but baby it's all natural with just a splash....dash of flare!
Alexis' brother Dane was the funniest little guy. I don't think he cried once all day...he was so tired and just kept hanging in there. What a trooper. I want to get him again so we can play longer and get some "action" shots. Thanks Shannon for sharing your crew with me!
Maybe I need to go back to my last post and read again about "the follow through"! It's been a crazy month and I'm just now getting back into the swing of things. Besides being plain busy, my husband and I took a vacation...yes, I said it right...a VAY.to.the.KAY! It was an absolute dream fest. I will post on it over the weekend. Right now, it's catch up time and begging for forgiveness from all.
Here's Miss Kinsey--she's adorable in every way and I enjoyed spending some time with her and her mom Nikki. It's amazing how much they look a like...even their mannerisms and expressions! They were adorable to watch and a blast to capture images of. Enjoy.
You might recognize this fresh face from my new little banner above...it's Maggie! Maggie is a staple in our household...she has watched our boys since Brody was a baby. She's awesome and we adore her. I still don't know who she looks like more...Natalie Portman or Keira Knightley...according to Tate and Brody she looks like Princess Amidala! All I know is she's naturally gorgeous on all levels!
More to come--sorry I've been so slow Maggie! Love.
Over the weekend, I had the pleasure of playing with a gob of kiddos...10 to be exact. They ranged from 3 months to 7 years old. It's absolutely amazing experiencing all their different personalities and capturing their expressions through the camera. Here are just a few from Saturday--there will be a few more tomorrow--I promise with a capital "P". Thank you ladies for such a wonderful day and thank you HEATHER for hosting the event.
Did I mention there were fabulous mimosas...yum.in.the.tum!
My friend and I are having a bi-monthly little activity that forces us to rely on our creative juices...sometimes we loose track of our creative sides so we need to give it monthly doses of encouragement! Here's our first project--a meaningful word where the letters are translated through architectural items. It was so much fun! My boys went with me on the outing and they had a ball finding the letters. I didn't think they would get into it--but I was wrong!
Here's my word--it's my theme for 2008 and I have grown to love it. I need a big helping of this on a regular basis.....
