Creative juices...

My friend and I are having a bi-monthly little activity that forces us to rely on our creative juices...sometimes we loose track of our creative sides so we need to give it monthly doses of encouragement!  Here's our first project--a meaningful word where the letters are translated through architectural items.  It was so much fun!  My boys went with me on the outing and they had a ball finding the letters.  I didn't think they would get into it--but I was wrong! 

Here's my word--it's my theme for 2008 and I have grown to love it.  I need a big helping of this on a regular basis.....

So I have this friend who's a fantabulous photographer that I adore.  She's been kind enough to take me under her wing and not only become my friend, but a little bit of a mentor as well.  I think she's out to get me though...

First she totally jacked up my denial about a breve latte being "slightly" fattening...click here for the scary truth...EXHIBIT A

The woman is cracking me up!  She might be out to get me, but man that's good humor! Thanks for the much needed laughs Heather.

It's a brand new day!!!

What a wonderful concept...a brand new day...a brand new start.

There's a lot of exciting things going on around here...celebrating a new day and a new future.  Here's a little hint of what I have up my sleeves.

New York babe!

Here are some recent shots of Cairo--he's a doll-baby from New York.  His mom is a gorgeous and swanky gal with long blond hair and his daddy is a hunk from Egypt...hence the name Cairo!  They are the epitome of New York posh and I adore them.  They own a fabulous club in New York call Faluka--highly recommend it if you're in the city.

Sherri was in town last week and was sweet enough to let me take some quick photos of Cairo.  He was all smiles the entire time and his curls are to die for!

Here's Cairo's uncle Michael...he's 9 years old!  I just love that!

A boy and a tire swing...

I don't know what it is about a tire swing, but they just make you happy.  Even when you're having a crappy day...a tire swing just puts a smile on your face and somehow let's you know that every thing's going to be all right. 

Mental note to self...grow a tree big enough and purchase a tire swing.  Stop borrowing the neighbors.
